[a buddy] of mine bought a house with 2.5 acres and a private well and is turning it into an incredible farm and micro brewery ...
i went to the farm warming party yesterday ... bbq and home brews ... it was fun ...
there was a greenhouse ... i think four above ground planters ... a very awesome shop/barn/brewery ... a duck pond with probably 50 ducks ... a couple sheep ... Big John the llama for animal protection ... chickens ... a huge trellis set-up with misters ... and i don't know what else ... knowing my buddy though ... everything will be automated and run from his computer ...
this guy always has the best of everything ... he reads online, and then builds it ... it is remarkable ... i never see him not succeed with a project ...
... oh, i almost forgot about the worm boxes ... worm farming ...
... something like ... you build these 2 ft x 2 ft boxes with lids and screens at the bottom ... stack them three high ... put worms, dirt and table scraps in the boxes ... the casings (worm waste) falls to the bottom ... and the third box down is pure casings ...
the casings are worth like 10 times the price of the worms ... and you sell it by the pound.
this guy is doing it all ...
his home brews were awesome too ... i had three different types myself.
