diamonds on the tips of the branches

wow ... i am looking at a tree out the south window ... it is bare without leaves ... and there must be ice crystals on the tips of the branches ... because the morning sunrise is shining through them ... making them look like diamonds ... better than strings of clear christmas lights ... but similar ... unbelievable.

(oh, that's why ... it is 8F ... with an overnight low of 4F ... i didn't realize it was that cold outside this morning.)
