"New Mexico education chief Hanna Skandera, overruling the state Public Education Commission this week, will allow a new all-online charter school to open in the fall."

Skandera OKs online school despite opposition

1. is "education chief" an official title for ms. skandera?
2. is "Secretary-designate at the New Mexico Public Education Department" an official title for ms. skandera?
3. does ms. skandera need to be approved by the legislature or some other body to become the official education secretary for new mexico?
4. how can an unconfirmed designate overrule the state Public Education Commission?

...and here is the same ap story (associated press) with a different title presented by a different local news site (something called plagiarism) :

or propaganda ... or churnalism

"Churnalism is a form of journalism in which press releases, wire stories and other forms of pre-packaged material are used to create articles in newspapers and other news media."

"The decline of original journalism has been associated with a corresponding rise in public relations."

growing a story (PR)

------------------------------------------------
i sent the four questions (above) to both news sites, the governor's office, the public education department, and some place called chiefs for change.

http://chiefsforchange.org/members/hanna-skandera/

none of those groups has replied ...
so i will answers the questions:

1. NO - "education chief" is not an official title
2. NO - "Secretary-designate at the New Mexico Public Education Department" is not an official title
3. YES - ms. skandera does need to be confirmed by the senate
4. NO - an unconfirmed designate cannot overrule the state Public Education Commission

chiefs for change is almost certainly another public-private partnership ... fascism ... and that like a possible antipope, we are watching fakery ... and skandera is an anti-secretary of education.
------------------------------------------------
The Secretary of Education is appointed by the governor and confirmed by the senate.

this is illegal ... ms. skandera cannot be making policy and also not be confirmed by the senate ... the policies are illegal and her acting as secretary-designate is illegal too ... two negatives do not make a positive.
