Citizens' Academy gives people a glimpse of police life
aug 19, 2013
Farmington police are offering a 12-week class to show the public what it's like to be a police officer.
Have you ever wanted to see how the bomb squad deals with explosions, or how they use their robots, or what it's like to work in the K-9 unit?
These of the kinds of classes the Farmington Police Department offers in its Citizens' Academy.
Farmington police are accepting applications for their next academy in September. The classes are on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9:30. If you're interested in applying (click below)
